Tuscana Pizzeria Chennai - Review

Recently opened Tuscana Pizzeria in the posh locality of Nungambakkam in Chennai is an ideal destination for a perfect mix of an elegant ambience and lip-smacking Pizzas.

One of my friends suggested this place and we went there together. I always trust him for his well researched suggestions. Even this time he was right.

Food - The authentic Italian food served over there is amazing, both in terms of variety and quality. They had a large variety of Cheese like mozzarella, provolone, gorgonzola, goat milk and feta. I will suggest Siciliana and Quattro Formaggi in pizzas.

They also serve a huge variety of Pastas. They have to work on their Pastas. Very bland and tasteless pastas are being served in the name of being authentic.

We ordered for Cannelloni which was simply superb.

The beverages and desserts make the menu complete.

We had veg food but they also serve non-veg food. So I will not comment on non-veg food.

Service - Very rarely in Chennai you find such well mannered waiters. Each table being properly served. The waiters had good etiquettes and they were courteous too.

Price - It was on the higher side. Be prepared to shell out around Rs. 400 per person if you go in a group of 3-4. The quality of food, service and ambience is worth the high price paid.

Ambience - Very well lit and well decorated. The tables could be little spaced out though. They have non-ac open seating also. The atmosphere over there gives it a feeling of high end class restaurant.

Make a booking before you go there. They had a cover of 72 as per the waiter A. Dilli who was serving us.
